Website
· Committee met at Larry’s place. Sent tasks to Michael to be completed – he said they would be done. “Error report not popping up” Calendar issues? Edit existing entries?
· Larry has list of member company ID’s and passwords – If you’d like yours today – see Larry.
· We need a newsletter for member theaters with their company ID/password and directions on how to post on the site.
· PHASE 2 – we need a Constructive Push System – members can request specific info sent to them (jobs, auditions, postings)
· We are looking for a Website person. Let Larry or Julianna know if you know anyone.
· Who is getting the newsletter together? Large list for emails, MACT Newsletter to members only.
· Send large group information on posting to website via postcard – cheaper than newsletter. However, it has to fully explain the website. Goal of committee to hire someone to do pro-bono work for us.
· Need to post ad ‘On Project Basis” nothing too technical – Larry might have someone.
· Committee to meet again and bring back suggestions to August board meeting.

AACT Fest 2011
· Discussions on having Minnesota host the 2011 AACT Fest. Burnsville is getting a new performance center – ground-breaking on July 12, 2007. Bill looked at the plans – looks good – would be a good location for a national festival.
· Need to raise $5 million for enhancements.
· Bad thing is that Burnsville does not have a lot of hotel rooms at this time. Talking to Burnsville Convention Bureau.
· Would need more volunteers but there are several groups involved.
· Would be a lot of work (host theater could make up to $30K) Bill will be AACT President when decision is made but in 2011 he will be a Past President.
· Request must be to the Executive Board by October 2008 for their decision in February 2009. (2009 Fest will be in Tacoma, WA)
· Will need a committee to be formed.
