Membership in the Minnesota Association of Community Theatres is open to any individual or organization.  According to our by-laws, there are three classes of memberships:

  • Individual - open to any individual who pays annual dues
  • Organizational - open to any theater company or group
  • Patron - open to any one giving an annual gift of $25 or more

Benefits of membership include:

  • a vote on all matters which entail a membership vote;
  • receive our periodic newsletter;
  • discounts on Festivals and Conferences;
  • the ability to participate in Festivals;
  • access to restricted areas of our web site;
    • Individual Members:
      • ability to list yourself in the resource roster
    • Organizational Members:
      • enter listings of upcoming auditions for the public calander
      • enter listings of upcoming performances for the public calendar
      • enter listings of items you have for sale
      • enter listings of items you have available for rent
  • other benifits as may be provided by MACT.

MACT's Board of Directors includes individuals elected at a general membership meeting each June, plus one member from each organizational member who shall be appointed by that organization.  Elected directors serve a three year term, with some expiring each year.  Directors appointed by their organizations server until a new representative is appointed.

We welcome your interest, your membership and your participation on MACT committees and in MACT activities.  With you we can work together more effectively to fulfill our role in Minnesota theater.

    •  $20 (a $5 discount is availabe to senior citizens, students, people of fixed incomes and first time members)
  • Organizational Member:
    • Budgets under $25,000/year:  $40
    • Budgets $25,000 - $50,000/year:  $50
    • Budgets over $50,000/year:  $60
  • Patron:
    • Supporting Player:  $25 - $49
    • Stage Manager:  $50 - $99
    • Director:  $100 - $249
    • Producer:  $250 - $499
    • Star:  $500 - $999
    • Actor:  $1,000 - $4,999
    • Philanthropist:  $5,000 or more
