Fast*Fest ‘08
Rules
Shows will be limited to 20 minutes, with 5 minutes allowed for set up and for strike.
MACT will provide 1 table and 4 chairs. Theatres can bring only one set piece.
Only the standard light plot can be used. Sound is up to each theatre - some equipment is available.
No rehearsal in the space.
There will not be an adjudication. There will be a moderated colloquy afterward.
Theatres must be MACT member theatres (there is no additional registration fee).
Performers and technicians need to meet the AACT Festival Eligibility standard. (not paid, non-equity)
Theatres need to represent that they have the rights to use any copyrighted materials including performance rights by signing the registration form below.
Except as stipulated above, all AACT Festival rules will apply.
You will need to provide two copies of the script only if ASL or Audio Description is requested for the session you are in.
General Information
The program will start Friday evening with a musical event and reception.
Shows will be all on Saturday. There will be three sessions on Saturday; a morning session, an afternoon session and an evening session. There will be 4 to 8 performances in each session.
There will be breaks between the sessions for meals and networking.
There will be a party Saturday evening after the evening session.
