New Member Benefit

Get more than your money's worth

MACT has just signed an agreement with on-line ticketing company "Tickets To The City" (TTTC) as a new benefit for our member theatres.  There are no fees (credit card, transaction or processing fees) to your theatre for using their service to sell tickets.  If you're a MACT member and you use TTTC as your on-line ticketing solution, they'll also send you an EXTRA TEN CENTS for every ticket you sell!  That's what I said, not only do you pay no fees but you also get $0.10 MORE than your ticket value.  This offer is available EXCLUSIVELY to MACT members.

Tickets To The City also provides a free Virtual Box Office so you can sell tickets to call in or walk ups who wish to pay for tickets with a credit card.  They don’t charge a fee to the ticket buyer or to you when you sell a ticket thru the Virtual Box Office (but you can add one if you like).

You can take donations thru TTTC. (They don’t charge a fee for this service but the credit card companies’ fees do come off the top.)

Your customers can buy individual general admission tickets, reserve their seats and/or buy season tickets online and you get 100% of the ticket price PLUS ten cents per ticket.

You can also provide VIP’s with comp tickets.

The fee to the ticket buyer when they buy a ticket online is $1.00 if the net ticket price is $12 or less, $1.25 plus the credit card fee for tickets over $12.

TTTC's fees are based on what the ticket sold for, not what it was listed for. (Some other ticketing services base their fees on the published price rather than the actual selling price.)

You can change your customer’s tickets to another date or give the customer a refund.

Your season ticket holders can reserve their specific seats themselves and you’ll know about it the minute it happens. (Flex ticket packages only.)

TTTC pays you weekly and they do not hold back any of your funds like some services do.

Their web administrator can set up your shows at no additional cost (but rather as a courtesy to you - which is terrific for those who have a limited # of events).

Because their service is continually improving, they often make updates to the service based on requests of their clients.

You capture information about your ticket buyers including their email address, phone # and mailing address.

TTTC has an auditing feature so you can analyze your ticket sales.

They provide no cost, tech support to you and even to your customers should they need to call them.

If you use a Zebra or Boca printer TTTC will set up a template for you at no extra charge.

They offer a rebate of ten cents per ticket for members of MACT - AND they donate a dime per ticket to MACT so that we can continue to support live theatre in Minnesota.

Your customer receives an email the day of the show reminding them of the time and place.

TTTC can provide you with access to credit card readers and bar code scanners if you need them.
