MACT*Fest 2019
MACT*Fest 2019 will be held at Riverland Community College in Austin on March 15through 17, 2019. It will be hosted by Summerset Community Theatre and the Riverland Community College Foundation.
Registration is now open for MACT*Fest 2019.

There will be six theatres presenting shows at this festival. They are:

Saturday, 1:00 PM:
FungusAmongus Players - Foxfire
Marshall Area Stage Company - Rest a Spell
Saturday, 7:00 PM:
The Ensemble Theatre Company - Unnecessary Farce
County Seat Theater Company - Sweet
There will also be workshops on Saturday morning.

The late registration deadline for theatres is January 12. This is also the tech meeting day at the festival location, so you can bring your registration to that if you so choose. Payment can be made via the link below. (I’m still trying to figure out how to create a registration form that can be filled in on-line.)

The initial registration deadline for entering your theatre was December 14th. We had six theatre companies registered by that date. a drawing was held for performance order, filling from the last performance slot backwards. The performance order for those six theatre companies will be (from LAST performance working backwards): County Seat Theatre Company, Cloquet; The Ensemble Theatre Company, Apple Valley; Marshall Area Stage Company, Marshall; Fungus Amongus Players, Dassel-Cokato; Calumet Players, Pipestone; Applause Community Theatre; Mendota Heights.
Any additional theatres registering will continue to fill the remaining six performance slots (still working backwards towards the first performance slot) based on the order the registration is received.
As in the past few festival cycles, this festival will be limited to a maximum of 12 presenting theatres. Performing order will be by random drawing of the theatre registrations received by the December 14th deadline date. We will fill the last performnce slot first and work backwords from there. (MACT reserves the right to change the performance order based on time, content or other criteria it deems as beneficial to the festival.)
If we do not have the maximum of 12 theatres registered by the December 14th deadline, we will contnue to accept application until January 12th, 2019 or until the 12 slots are filled, which ever comes first. Late registrations will be assigned the latest of the available performance slots in the order in which they are received.
MACT*Fest follows the rules as described in the AACTFest Handbook.
