MN Shorts

Starting February 1st, submit your short 1-minute play script to the Annual Minnesota Shorts Play Festival, which will be held in September in Mankato.

Scripts are limited to playwrights in the Midwest states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and Kansas.

Keep identifying information to the title page of your submission (name, address, phone contact and email address). Our entries are sent to readers blind so please don’t put indentifying information on any other page of your script.

Scripts are accepted in a pdf format. Simply email to mnshorts@yahoo.com.

Plays can be new or previously produced. Any topic goes. Content note: We perform these plays to a community audience – Age 10 and up – so no nudity or excessive use of vulgar language.
